Finding Bliss in Troubled Times

Economic woes sure can leave us feeling insecure, especially if we give them all the attention that the media seems to demand of us. Wayne Dyer says that what we focus on expands, that whatever holds our attention most will keep showing up more and more. Bad news does seem to beget more bad news these days. If we listen to all the media attention on scarcity, lack, loss and fear, we can undermine even our most focused positive beliefs and intentions.

Let's mount our own counter attack, a Positive Intention Offensive, a movement for seeing and believing in abundance and well-being. Let's be visionary radicals who focus on prosperity in a time when it's the 'in thing' to concentrate how bad things are. Sure, it takes courage to take personal responsibility for our own financial and emotional well-being. Yes, it takes courage to create abundance an dwell-being in new and different ways. But what has the old "Tried and True" done for us lately?

Financial and business gurus like Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki advise us to create multiple streams of income, both to create greater prosperity, and also as a way of hedging our financial fortune against radical changes in various markets ~ the kinds we've seen lately. It's not enough anymore to diversify our mutual fund portfolio. We need to diversify our beliefs about where and how prosperity comes to us.

Traditional sources like payroll income and real estate investments don't seem to be enough to secure our financial freedom anymore. What are your ideas about creating financial freedom? How do you stay positive when everyone around you frets, worries, and complains? Let's support each other and share our radical ideas for creating true wealth and well-being. We look forward to hearing from you.
